  • According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, 2020 is the largest wildfire season recorded in California history. Oregon and Washington are also experiencing record blazes with tens of thousands of people under evacuation orders.
  • On Monday, President Trump and former VP Biden made appearances to address the crisis. President Trump attributed the wildfires to years of poor forest management. Biden focused his attention on climate change and called President Trump a "climate arsonist."
