  • On March 11th, President Trump gave a speech from the Oval Office on the Coronavirus.
  • During the speech, he announced a 30-day suspension on travel from Europe (excluding the United Kingdom). He also proposed some emergency actions to provide support to Americans during the crisis.
  • These proposals included financial relief for hourly workers, additional liquidity from the Small Business Administration for low-interest loans, an extension of the April 15th tax deadline for some individuals and businesses, and payroll tax relief legislation.
  • The World Health Organization has officially declared the Coronavirus outbreak a “pandemic.”
